Day Thirty EightYawwwn

CLASSES:
Rehearsal: More rehearsal and blocking. There are a few scenes at the end of the play with lots of people on stage, so actors from both halves need to be on stage. For example, I'm to be a porter in one of the final scenes, though I'm part of the group doing the first half.

We started out working scenes for several hours. Then we broke for lunch and all got together for blocking out the two scenes where George directs the whole class. During the second of the scenes, several of us who had exited Ywan scene got together with John and worked scenes. After George was done we had our costume show, mostly to see if there were suggestions, and to be sure we matched the other person playing our role.

Then in the evening we got together in our two groups again, to do more blocking and scene work. It was a long, long day for all of us. No longer than when we were doing classes, but for rehearsal it seemed terrifically long.


OBSERVATIONS/CLICKS:
It was a long eleven hour day. One of those looking at the time kind of days. A good day all the same, and a very satisfied flopping on the mattress after getting home.
